What We Measure

7 parameters, one clear picture

Each parameter is compared to your loved one's personal baseline — not a population average. What's normal for them is what matters.

HR

Heart Rate

Resting heart rate compared to their personal baseline.

SpO2

Blood Oxygen

Oxygen saturation — subtle drops can signal early changes.

Temp

Temperature

Personal delta, not absolute. A small rise from their norm matters.

RR

Respiratory Rate

Measured during sleep for the most accurate reading.

Zzz

Sleep

Duration and quality against their personal baseline.

BP

Blood Pressure

Manual entry, daytime only. Optional but valuable.

?!

Confusion

Binary flag. If present, adds +3 immediately.

How the score builds

The score isn't just a snapshot — it tracks persistence. A parameter that stays elevated adds weight over time.

Personal baselines

Harmoni spends the first 7 days learning what's normal for your loved one. We use the median, not the mean — so one unusual night doesn't skew everything.

Persistence adds weight

If a parameter scores 1 or higher for consecutive days, it gains +1/day (capped at +2). This catches slow-building patterns that a single reading would miss.

Multi-parameter detection

Real deterioration usually shows up across multiple parameters at once. A slightly elevated heart rate alone is a 1. Elevated heart rate plus poor sleep plus a temperature shift? That's a pattern worth noting.

Syncs every 3 hours

The score updates throughout the day but notifications are capped at 3 — morning summary, evening summary, and at most one mid-day nudge.
